영어 Hi. It's me! I'm sorry I didn't answer your last e-mail. You won't believe what happened to me.?Our family moved into a new place because our landlord wanted to evict us. To complete my misery, my mother-in-law said she couldn't babysit Tim anymore, so I had to put him in a day care center.

Patch는 ‘조각’이라는 뜻으로 icy patch는 ‘부분적으로 얼어 있는 곳’이라는 뜻이며, hit the brake는 ‘브레이크를 밟다’, tailgate는 ‘앞차에 바싹 붙어 운전하다’라는 뜻입니다.

영어 I'll be super busy next week because my father-in-law is going to have his birthday, so our family will be celebrating. We are going to have a big dinner at our house. I said I was going to prepare the food, but I'm worried about it. You know I'm all thumbs in the kitchen.

Decorate는 ‘...을 장식하다’, pj's는 ‘파자마[잠옷]’라는 뜻입니다. Stocking stuffer는 ‘양말에 넣어 주는 작은 크리스마스 선물’을 의미합니다.

영어 Hey guys! We are having a party on Christmas Eve at my place. We'll be decorating the Christmas tree and hanging the stockings. We have plenty of room for people to sleep over, so bring your pj’s if you want. Just bring a few stocking stuffers, and we’ll all have a good time!
